Healthy Feeding for your Dog

It’s been a couple of months since we started adding freeze-dried raw to Roxi’s diet. The results have been amazing! Roxi’s coat is softer & much less itchiness, even with the dry winter air. Most importantly her poop, smaller in size & that’s the perfect consistency for picking it up. 

I find it easy to feed & store all three products, they come in zipper type bags for stay fresh goodness. Bottom line you can feed your dogs freeze-dried raw that’s easy to feed and is just a scoop away! 

The annual visit to our veterinarian showed she keep her weight at the ideal for her size. I’m feeding her less food as well! Her teeth are in great condition as well as her coat. 

Roxi’s a border line large dog by my standards, weighing in at 47.7 pounds, 21” long & 20” tall.

Her diet consists of two meals a day each of:

Brothers Complete dry kibble - 1/2 cup (rounded)

TruDog FeedMe - 1/3 cup (rounded)

TruDog FortifyMe - rounded tablespoon 

Clear Conscience Super Gravy - enough to moisten 

Results, in my opinion have been fabulous! Her tummy hasn’t had any problems. She maintains her weight feeding less food. She never turns down her dinner. Love being able to change up the proteins while staying with the same companies.

The BarkBone is a chew bone that’s easy to pick-up & for tough chewers. The squeaky emojis are Roxi’s favorite, they fit in her mouth for the perfect squeak! She’s very good with toys so she’s getting a sock monkey that’s soft with a squeaky thingy inside. Her last toy I choose for her was a jingle X-Tire Ball because I wanted some type of toy that I could tie to our “lounge whip” for her to chase. All of these fit Roxi for her stocking gifts. Adding Raw to kibble as a healthy booster.

Ever wanted to try adding raw food but was afraid of how to go about feeding?

TruDog makes it easy with "FeedMe" it's a freeze-dried raw crunchy kibble. I add this & BoostMe to Roxi's Brothers Complete Kibble. I add 1/2 cup of Brothers to 1/2 cup of FeedMe & a tablespoon of BoostMe twice a day.

We moisten the kibble mixture with about a 1/4 cup of warm Super Gravy from Clear Conscience. I've found this to be the perfect blend for Roxi that she loves.

Her coat is super soft & shiny. It also keeps her at the perfect weight as so many dogs have trouble keeping weight on or being overweight. Her vet remarks on how good she looks & how nice her teeth & gums are. She's never been sick & always has the "perfect" poo!
